Wind chime

Wind chimes are such lovely items to have around the house, especially outside your bedroom windows. They can make such beautiful sounds and the fairy folk LOVE them. If you hang one outside you'll be sure to see some fairies... they will come and dance in your garden!

You will need

• old knives, forks + spoons
• wire or fishing thread
• a piece of wood

What to do

Choose some old knives, forks and spoons that mummy or daddy do not want. Bang them together until you find some that have a lovely sound.

If dad is able it is a good idea to hammer the fork and spoon until it’s flat. If dad cannot, don’t worry! They will be just as good!

Find a small piece of wood to tie the wire or fishing wire to. You can always tie it around the piece of wood.

Then tie the cutlery together, be sure to have at least 5 hanging up, and attach them to the wood.

Hang it in the wind and listen to the beautiful song!!
