Wat's up?

Welcome to my very special magical world, FAIRYLAND!
Well, the seasons have been changing and there seems so much to do! The animals have hidden their food for winter and we have been making lots of yummy pies and cakes to keep us warm!

The king and queen of Fairyland are very happy because some of the birds made some ear warmers for them so their ears will be warm when they visit all of Fairyland. What beautiful colours bird’s feathers are!

We are all helping the animals as winter is so cold and often they don’t have warm snugly heaters or beds to sleep in like we do! I am also thinking of getting a dog. But as with all animals it is a BIG decision. I flew to the SPCA because there are so many unwanted pets waiting for new homes. People don’t want their dogs or cats when they get bigger so hopefully soon I shall have a new friend to fly around with me!!

New Zealand is still so much fun!! The countryside is beautiful, and the children are lovely! I do miss my wonderful friends in Australia though, HELLO to all of you!!

Well, I must fly as I have to bake some seed pies for the hungry birds!! And then we are having a smelly sock competition at the palace.

SUMMER CITY FESTIVAL
Wellington, New Zealand

Join Fairy Trina in the summer holidays for a free event for all the family brought to you by Meridian Energy in association with Wellington City Council and Fairy Trina Productions.

There are many competitions run throughout the weeks of Enchanted Tales including a colouring-in and a fairy bread contest, with a massive Grand Fairy Ball to finish the season on the 30th January. For both boys and girls. See you there!!

ENCHANTED TALES
Time: 11am and 1pm
Date: 8 – 30 January
Place: The Dell Botanic Gardens

Fairy Trina creates magic at the Dell with innovative story telling entwining improvised plays, participatory games, dance, original and improvised songs…and exactly the right amount of fairy dust!
Everyday for 60 minutes there will be adventures abound for the whole family - be prepared to cross treacherous seas, creep through magical forests, sing along and giggle hard.

KIDS PANTOMIME
Time: 5pm
Date: 24 – 29th Jan
Place: Soundshell

Head to magick fairyland with Fairy Trina where you will meet friendly witches, pixies and garbage gobbling dragons!

In this very special interactive pantomime experience, kids use the imaginative power of their make believe to help the characters on their fantastical journeys.
